Recognising the F.A.S.T stroke signs is extremely important at our Centre to help keep everyone safe within our venue.
What are F.A.S.T heroes?
F.A.S.T heroes are everyday Australians who know and can recognise the signs of a stroke.
Across Australia, F.A.S.T heroes save lives every day by recognising the four stroke symptoms and calling an ambulance immediately. The four F.A.S.T symptoms or signs are:

Reduce your risk of stroke with the Life! Program
At our facililty, you can access a stroke prevention program called Life! which is Vic Government funded program aimed at reducing Victorian’s risk of stroke, type II diabetes and cardiovascular disease. This program can be accessed online or remotely via Telehealth.
The Life! program gives you the motivation and support needed to make and maintain positive changes and to live a healthier and more active lifestyle.
Since 2007, over 60,000 Victorians have learnt more about the steps they can take to live a healthy life. Funded by the Victorian Government and coordinated by Diabetes Victoria it is the largest prevention program of its kind in Australia.

If you score higher than 12 and have a Body Mass Index score of 25 or higher (or 23 if you self-identify as being of Asian background*) then you may be eligible for the free Life! program .
